We organize a special event, bringing together more than 1,000 people from diverse regions of West Bengal, including Bankura, Birbhum, Purulia, Sundarban, Darjeeling, and the entire North Bengal. This gathering will celebrate our shared goals and strengthen our commitment to empowering blind individuals. Together, we can make a lasting impact and foster unity across our vibrant state!
Independence Day
On 15th August, we observe Independence Day with great enthusiasm, creating patriotism and unity among farmers. Our secretary hoists the national flag, garlands freedom fighters, and we host cultural programs featuring traditional singing music, and dance. Speeches emphasize the importance of inclusivity and support for blind individuals, promoting unity.
Republic Day
We commemorate Republic Day on January 26th by hoisting the national flag, distributing food and sweets to members and volunteers, and providing nutritious meals to destitute children. Our cultural programs showcase India’s rich diversity, improving national pride and unity while honoring the values of our constitution.
Rabindra Jayanti
Rabindra Jayanti, celebrated on May 9th, honors the birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore, a revered poet, philosopher, and Nobel laureate. We conduct various cultural programs including Rabindra Nritiya, Rabindra sangeet, and recitations. We distribute sweets, and nutritious food to marginalized children and needy ones.
World Sight Day
We conduct World Sight Day on October 10 each year. We organize free eye check-up camps in local communities, distributing spectacles to those in need. We also conducted awareness sessions on eye health, emphasizing the importance of regular vision screenings.
